My father was in Nam from 66-70. He has told my sisters and myself about his time there and I think it's wonderful what y'all are doing. My sisters and I have read as much as we could about it and have done many research papers on it. We are not ashamed that our dad fought there; in fact, we are quite proud of him and all those who fought and died there.

I read some of the articles posted in the website and viewed some photos about the war. I just hope someday men will learn to understand that life is not introduced to mankind as payment for any kind of selfishness, but rather it is something to preserve despite of too much uncertainties. War can be everywhere and can happen anytime as we want to, but then, life itself will not compromise a good breed of the future, for it's been torn in the present already.

my wife and I were in vietnam in '03. I can only imagine the horror of a young man fighting an unseen enemy in tunnels such as those in chu chi.The vietnamise people were victims as the american soldiers were, of political ignorance and intolerence.I can't begin to understand the pain experienced by both sides.

I was chief of surgery at the 24th evac hosp.july69-
june70.Met great people.Amazing work and research was performed at that unit. Many lives were saved, and the civilian population was also cared by the medical team.Indeed,it was a terrible war with unclear results or purpose .

Thank you so much for this sight, I am doing a school project that requires pictures and most sights will not let you copy the pictures. Thanks again now I'm off to search for pictures of purple hearts and other medals.
